Lord in the name of Jesus, I pray that you come in the room. Lord we need your presence in this place. Lord we invoke your presence in the house. Lord, come on in the house. Lord, dwell with us here. We need you Lord to come here. Lord, let your train fill the temple. Holy Spirit come in this place. Have you heard this prayer before? Have you prayed this prayer before? Do you think this is the correct prayer to pray now.

When we try to invite God into a place, that is old covenant Judaism! Old Testament Judaism states that God resides in a place called the Holy of Holies. It was true under the old covenant. He did dwell in a place. During that time God was with man. Now God is in man.  God doesn’t dwell in houses made with hands.

Stephen says in Acts 7:48 that “Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands. Also Acts 17:24 says “God that made the world and all things therein, being that he is Lord of heaven and earth dwelleth not in temples made with hands;

So He lives and dwells on the inside of us. The place is not were He dwells. When I walk in a room or the church, I am bringing Him with me. That’s why He can’t be first in my life, He has to be my life. So His life can manifest through my life. When that happens He is in the place and His Spirit can manifest itself through the lives of His children. There is no need to invite Him in. He is already there with you.

Walk in the New Covenant and release the life of Jesus through you and see the divine works that He does through your life. I will leave you with this scripture found in Colossians 3:4 which says, “When Christ who is our life, shall appear then shall ye also appear with him in glory!
