I read something in Romans concern Abraham that blew my mind. It says in Romans 4:19, And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about a hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb: Do you know that he was mentally strong? He looked at his body every day and he didn’t let his mind consider it. Wow! He considered more of what God said, then what he saw. Do we consider the negative more than the positive? Do we consider the problem more than the promise? Do we consider the lack more than the provision? Can we remain focus (focus means to aim at the target) even when things look bad? Do we read, think, reflect, meditate, focus or excerise our minds, so we can stay mentally sharp? Can we believe way beyond what we see or feel? Or are we derailed at the first sign of trouble? I wonder? Have become mentally lazy?
